Libby Blow - Student Councillor

I have nominated myself for councillor as I would like to give an amplified voice to all students, particularly smaller societies. The reason for this is because many smaller/newer societies struggle to get affiliated by SUSU, which makes it more difficult for them to plan activities and socials compared to affiliated societies. Therefore, I would like for SUSU to consider the needs of ALL societies as I have seen firsthand the effort it takes to plan successful events.

Previously, I was head student of my department at my college, which meant that I was able to participate in meetings with other students and staff members. My ideas, proposed by my classmates, went to the council and were implemented, demonstrating my commitment to representing you, our students. 

As a politics student, I understand the importance of democracy and fairness and if elected, will do everything in my power to represent you and your needs
