Key Points

  • Ready to listen to my peers' concerns
  • Approachable and friendly
  • Determined to achieve goals
  • Leader but can also work as a team
  • Organised

As your first point of contact as an academic representative, I am adamant to make sure that student feedback is acknowledged at the university. As a first year myself, I recognise the support needed when starting your course, whether it be on how to keep up with the new style of learning at university, or looking to further your education with related workshops; I would love to collaborate with the department and faculty officers to represent student interests when meeting up with the committee and develop my skills in leadership and organisation. I know this role comes with commitment but I believe I have the skills and determination present to successfully represent other Politics and Economics students to the extent that they deserve.

Having done a JP Morgan summer school in August 2022 and being a prefect in my last school, I believe this role would showcase and enhance my communication and team working skills. Enriching our academic environment as your Economic, Social and Political Science School President would be a great pleasure to me and I would love to prove myself to my fellow students by representing what matters to you.
