Join us and CrowdStrike in a cybersec simulation and get thrown into the security world! Working in teams made up of incident responders, threat intelligence analysis and data scientists, you are to advise the University of Southampton staff on the current cyberattack they are facing. Will you handle the situation properly, kicking out the bad guy and providing attribution, or will our university be held to ransom?

This workshop will run for 1hr 30 mins. The attendees will be grouped and entered into breakout rooms to discuss plausible solutions to the attack that is underway. You’ll then in return hear from our experts to help pave the way for what we do next.

You can either attend the event with pre-formed groups, or we can randomly assign you to an available team at the start of the event. We hope you find a solution so our university isn’t left to ransom!
