Summer Festival - Academic Skills Service

8 Jun 2021,

Highfield Campus: Marquee

University of Southampton

As part of the Summer Festival, the Academic Skills Service will be providing two-hour drop in sessions on Tuesday 8 June between 11:00 and 13:00 and again on Wednesday 16 June between 13:00 and 15:00, based in the marquee outside the Students’ Union. We would love for you to come and join us to have a cup of tea or coffee and have a relaxed discussion about how you can make the most out of this summer to get ahead for next year.

You might have just finished your first year and be reflecting on how to improve your grades when your assignment marks will be counted towards your degree as you move into your second year. Alternatively, you might be at the end of your penultimate year of study and wanting to make progress with your dissertation or final year project.

Elliott, our Specialist Writing Tutor will be there to provide you with tips to improve your written work. Liz can help you with any of the mathematical or statistical components of your degree programme as our Specialist Mathematics and Statistics Tutor. Nicola, as our Learning and Skills Librarian, will be able to help with everything else! Whatever your query, our academic skills specialists will be there to welcome you and support you with your next steps. We look forward to seeing you soon!

No need to book, come along on the day and meet the team!
