As part of sustainability fortnight, we're going to be giving away a bunch of seedlings and also some seeds that you can grow in your uni bedroom/kitchen! They're all easy to look after and you'll have full insructions given to you on the day - no need to be a seasoned gardener!

So what will there be? (you will be given the plant in a biodegradable seedling pot)

 - Basil: perfect to make the classic student spaghetti a bit fancier 

 - Mint: wind down from exam stress with some mint tea

 - Cress: one of the simplest and quickest to grow but packs a lot of nutrients!

 - Sunflower: beautiful and yet still edible :)

(+ maybe some dwarf beans and sweet peas!)

Once they get a little bigger, you can transplant them into just about anything: cut up milk cartons, washed-out tin cans and of course plant pots if you have them.

Give them some water, love, care and attention; then enjoy your harvest ;).
