Our taster classes are free for anyone who has never taken a class with us before, regardless of whether you are a final year or a fresher! There are 3 classes (beginners, intermediate, and advanced) that each have different difficulty levels to suit everyone's needs! 

Beginners: 5.00-6.00pm

Intermediate: 6.00-7.00pm

Advanced: 7.00-8.00pm

Classes are led by our wonderful teacher, Lucy, who has years of teaching experience, so you are in safe hands! We have our own boxes of tap shoes that are available for anyone to borrow during class, so please don't stress if you don't own any shoes. Whether you are looking to start a new skill or challenge yourself, we would love to see you!

The Organisers

Welcome to the wonderful world of tap dancing! We provide three classes every Wednesday, catering for pure beginners to advanced tappers Our lovely qualified tap teacher combines technical steps with funky moves and jazz hands to create a perfect stress relief from uni work! Our aim is to give dancers a chance to learn something brand new, improve their technique and ability, but also to have fun and get involved in a friendly and sociable society. We also participate in the annual Pure Dance show and also take our tap squads to inter-university competitions including Southampton's own dance competition, Surrey, Bucks and Loughborough.
