Games Society

A relaxed society aiming to provide a place to socialize and play board, card (including MTG), tabletop war and role playing games. It's completely free and you don't even have to be a student to join in! Come along any time Wednesdays from 4 till 8 or Saturdays 2 till 6 to meet like minded people and just have fun. We also run the social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower most Fridays from 6 till 10. You don't need to be good at games or know the games beforehand the rules will be explained. We have a variety of games available, you can even request games that the society can buy in for members to play. We continue during Holidays (including summer) so you can come any time of year! Our weekly sessions run all year round, including the term breaks! Come along to meet like minded people and have fun. No prior knowledge of games is required as all rules will be explained. We have a wide selection of games available and purchase new games every year!

  • represents board games in committee meetings, organises weekly sessions as well as start of year give it a go session, books and announces the rooms

  • The BotC representative is responsible for organising events for Blood on the Clocktower play, and make sure the BotC players’ interests are represented in the committee.

  • The CCG Representative shall be responsible for organizing events for collectible card game play, in particular for such play styles as are unsuitable at generic society meetings such as tournaments, and make sure the CCG players' interests are represented in the committee.
