Psych (Netball)
Welcome to the University of Southampton's Psychology Netball Team! We are a friendly and sociable club which welcomes all courses and abilities. There are no trials or initiations - just get a membership and join us for regular training, matches, socials and so much more x
Psych Netball is an inclusive netball club, which has two teams that play in the Intramural (IM) category - Psych Ego (league 2) & Psych Electra (league 3)
As a part of Psych Netball you will be able to:
- get fit and learn skills at our twice a week training/fitness sessions
- if you decided to, play in matches against other IM teams
- come to our super fun weekly themed socials
- attend the always brilliant tour abroad
- and lots of other perks!
Being a member of Psych Netball is great fun; allows you to meet new people in and out of your course, helps maintain/increase fitness, you can enjoy off-court socialising, get discounted entry to events and are guaranteed to make life long friends. Absolutely all abilities are welcomed in our club - whether you're a netball pro, haven't picked up a ball since secondary or never played the sport at all! Most of our club are Psychology students, however we welcome all degrees, so do come along even if you don't study psych.
We are the proud Winners of the IM League 2 2021/2022!
Do come say hi at Bunfight and come join us at our taster sessions during Freshers Week, to get so more insight into the club.
For more info, please check out our Instagram (@psychnetball) and don't be afraid to give us a DM.
Can't wait for you to be a member of our lovely netball family x
Love,
