JamSoc

We are a medics music society who host jam sessions and perform live at both the medic Christmas and Spring balls, as well as other events throughout the year. Note: although we are majority medics, we welcome anyone of any course and ability!

We're a free and friendly band that plays at MedSoc Winter and Spring Balls. 

We have weekly jam sessions on Monday. Come find us at Bunfight on the 15th!

The Committee

All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for JamSoc this year are:

  • Overseeing general upkeep and management of the society as well as organising events, performances and society activities.

Treasurer
  • Managing financial admin, controlling budget and tracking/ authorising spending.

Welfare Officer
  • Looking after the emotional and social wellbeing of our members

Musical Director
  • Providing expert musical knowledge to set composition and navigating the logistics of live performances.

Membership Information

These are the current membership fees offered by JamSoc, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
