Southampton International Medics Society

To provide a safe and fun space for new and current international medics, where they feel comfortable socialising, asking each other for help and discussing their own cultures while learning about new ones. We have found it is very difficult for international medics to adjust to life away from home, we aim to make this adjustment easier with welfare, social and academic events.

SIMS has been created to assist, orientate and help out international medical students from the University of Southampton. Be it issues ranging from homesickness to studies, SIMS members are here to help! It is also a great chance to meet up with other medical students from your home country as well as getting to know international students from other countries. We look forward to meeting you and extending our international family here in Southampton!
