Lacrosse (Ladies)

Southampton University Ladies Lacrosse Club has a large variety of members of all abilities. We currently have two BUCS teams and 1 development squad, so we will have something for you. Every year we welcome a large number of beginners to the club who mainly comprise the development team. We host socials every Wednesday, these are sometimes joint with the Mens and Mixed Clubs. We also host 2 annual joint balls. In addition to this, we have 2 annual trips our laxnation tour and our infamous post-exams weekend away.   • The Welfare Secretary will be the first port of call for any members facing any issues, and can offer support at different levels. In the case of a serious event, the Welfare Secretary will work with the President and Vice President.

  • Your go to gal for all things starting SULLC, being new to the club, particularly those who haven't played before. This friendly gal will be organising trainings, games and being a bridge to those in upper years in the club to promote ease in joining a new sport!

Membership Information

These are the current membership fees offered by Lacrosse (Ladies), although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.

Please note that some memberships of this group may also require you to purchase Sport & Wellbeing membership from the University of Southampton in order to use the relevant sport facilities

Ladies Lacrosse Year Membership£60.0001/09/2025 - 14/07/2026This memberships covers all trainings, coaching, equipment and matches for the entire year as well as social attendance. While there are other costs to the society they are all optional, this membership allows you to train three times a week, play matches and get transport to those matches without any additional cost to the membership.
Ladies Lacrosse Semester 1 Membership£35.0016/07/2025 - 25/01/2026This membership is only for semester 1, and is an option for individuals who might be on a semester abroad or want to try out the society without fully committing. This membership covers all trainings, coaching, equipment and matches for semester 1. While there are other costs to the society they are all optional, this membership allows you to train three times a week, play matches and get transport to those matches without any additional cost to the membership.
Ladies Lacrosse Social Membership£15.0017/07/2025 - 14/07/2026This membership only allows individuals to attend socials and does not cover any training or match fees. This membership allows you to attend our weekly Wednesday evening socials and any external sober socials that the society may hold. This membership also allows you to attend and vote in AGM.
Ladies and Mixed Lacrosse Membership Semester 1£40.0016/07/2025 - 25/01/2026What's better than one Lax club? Two! Why not do two lots of Lacrosse? It's a perfect way to meet even more people and to improve your LAX skills twice as fast as you would being in one club. As you can see from the price there is a significant discount when joining both clubs. The half year membership is perfect for those students only in Southampton for half a year, i.e. exchange students and those on a year abroad.
