We are a friendly bunch of people who boulder, climb and mountaineer all over the UK and beyond. All levels of ability are welcome so whether you haven't climbed before or you've just sent your futuristic V9 project we'd love you meet you. We're more than just a club; when you join SUMC you join a family with alumni members who return for club events from all over the UK. We run weekly indoor climbing meets (both bouldering and roped) alongside our fortnightly outdoor meets around the UK and our Christmas Trip sport climbing in Europe. Every week we also have a social which ranges from pub crawls and movie nights to kid's play areas and slacklining. We also set the bouldering problems in the University's climbing wall, where we run our skills courses covering climbing technique, roped rescue and remote outdoor first aid. Whatever gets you psyched, you can do it with us in SUMC. Check us out at SUMC.uk.
