SUStrings (String Orchestra)
SUStrings is a friendly and active string orchestra which was founded to provide string musicians the opportunity to play and explore the extensive and varied repertoire for string orchestra. There are no auditions and anyone who plays* the violin, viola, cello or double bass to around Grade 5 standard or above is welcome. We rehearse weekly and perform at least one concert per term and one tour per academic year. First rehearsal 29th September. *Harpists are welcome to come as well but majority of pieces won't have a specific part but you can still join and play along!

The Committee
All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for SUStrings (String Orchestra) this year are:

Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by SUStrings (String Orchestra), although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
