WaterAid Society

The aim of Southampton University WaterAid is to promote and support the work of WaterAid through fundraising and campaigning activities.

About WaterAid Society

We aim to raise awareness and funds for WaterAid, a charity that helps some of the worlds most vulnerable communities gain access to safe water and sanitation. They do this though various projects, such as helping to install wells, training people and giving them the tools to do this for themselves and educating people about hygiene. You can read more about this at www.wateraid.org.

As a society, we meet our aims though arranging regular meetings anyone is welcome to (about what the charity is currently doing and to discuss new ideas of how we can help),organising social events and fundraisers such as cake sales and the popular 'walk for water' to contribute to this great cause.

For more information do not hesitate to contact us on wateraid@soton.ac.uk, we'd love for you to get involved!
