Whether you’ve played competitively before or are just starting out, the Wessex Warriors are here to offer a fun, welcoming environment for everyone who loves basketball. Formed by a group of passionate players looking to bring fresh energy to the University's Intramural League, the Wessex Warriors are Southampton's newest intramural basketball team. Our goal is to provide a competitive but friendly team experience, with a focus on improvement, teamwork, and enjoying the game. Whether you're looking to get back into basketball or just want to try something new, there’s a spot for you on the Warriors roster. We play with energy, pride, and hunger and we live by our motto: Built Different. Stay Different.
From day one we’re focused on building a unit that doesn’t fold, a team that shows up, supports each other and competes with heart. Whether you're here to push your game or just want to be part of something fun and committed, come along and get involved. New faces are always welcome no matter your skill level. Our aim is to compete in the IM League this season and build a strong, tight-knit squad along the way.
We train Thursday 12-1PM and play matches Sunday afternoons.

These are the current membership fees offered by Wessex Warriors , although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
