1. Co-option of Vacant Halls Positions

Tim Wollen was co-opted as the Sports Officer for Liberty Point

James Austin was co-opted as the Sports Officer for Highfield Halls

2. Halls Update

Archers Road - Looking into organising a Pizza Night

Bencraft - Have placed orders for Yoga Mats and Amplifier. Hoping to recieve shortly

Chamberlain - Laura Barr (Welfare & Campaigns Officer) has successfully distributed condoms to over 100 flats in Hartley Grove. Feedback has been gathered via Survey Monkey which has resulted in a positive response from those who have recieved the packs. Laura is continuing to work with the Chamberlain Committee and the Union to look at progressing this campaign further.

Chamberlain looking to organise two nights at both Jesters and Ocenia along with a Pancake evening at Chamberlain. 

Connaught - Planning Bar Crawls and a Charity Night

Erasmus Park - Planning for a Pizza Night and looking at potential new equipment for the Common Room.

Gateway - Planning Pizza Night/Movie Night and an event for Pancake Day

Highfield - Planning for Pizza Night and also looking into repairing the broken Pool Table in the Common Room

Liberty Point - Planned Charity Night at Jesters on the 4th March

Monte - Had a Charity Event at Jesters which was a success. Planning possible events at the boiler house .

Committee members discussed that they had issues with a local club promoter who had been spamming Facebook pages. It was advised that if there are any further issues to report to Sam Higman and/or Flora Noble.

5. Sexual Consent Awareness Feedback

Sam Higman fed back on the recent Sexual Consent Awareness Campaign. SH reported that there had been some issues with the Red Brick due to construction works. SH fed back that she will be meeting with RESSUP to look at potential ways further access to halls can be established. 

Laura Barr (Chamberlain Halls Welfare and Campaigns Officer) fed back on the success of her campaign advising that around 600 condoms were distributed to students in Hartley Grove. Following online feedback, students have advised they would like this campaign to carry on. LB advised that she is now working with the Union and the University looking at ways this campaign can be taken forward. 

6. Halls Bars

FN advised that she met with Oli Coles (Union Bar Manager). FN advised that bars will need to earn approximately £50.00 p/h in order to cover costs. For students planning events they will need to first seek approval for funding from the committee and then give a minimum of two weeks notice to set the event up. 

7. AOB

Cecile Howard (Chamberlain Halls President) discussed that Surge are looking for participants for 'Talent on Surge'. CH advised the idea would be a show dediicated to Halls Talent. If anyone is interested in this, diirect questions to CH.
