Student Accessibility Network
Your Supportive Community!
Description
Join the Student Accessibility Network, a community for change and support!
Are you a disabled or neurodivergent student at the University of Southampton? The Student Accessibility Network (SAN) is here to provide a safe, student-led space where you can connect, share experiences, and advocate for meaningful change.
Why Join?
- Find a supportive community of students with similar experiences.
- Participate in monthly online meetings.
- Have your voice heard on issues affecting disabled and/or neurodiverse students.
- Work with SUSU and the University to improve accessibility and support.
Get involved in whichever way you want! Whether casually, or taking a lead on ideas, plans and initiatives.
Who Can Join?
Any student who self-identifies as disabled or neurodivergent, including those with long-term health conditions, mental health difficulties, sensory or mobility impairments, and specific learning differences (SpLD). Join our Teams channel for updates and discussions. The SAN is more than just a social group, it is a platform for advocacy, community, and action. We understand that students with disabilities may have limited time to spare, so participation is flexible. Join us and be part of a network that champions the rights and needs of disabled and neurodivergent students!
