The Team Southampton Sport Awards are a chance to recognise individuals and clubs in Team Southampton for their sporting achievements this year. Nominations are open from Friday 1 March – Friday 29 March. The awards ceremony will be held on Friday 10 May at St Mary’s Stadium.

Colours Awards

Along with recognition at the Team Southampton Sports Awards, SUSU have worked with the University graduation team so that all recipients for Colours awards will also be acknowledged for their sporting achievements in their graduation ceremony and in their graduation programme, pending individual permissions.
Colours will be awarded at the discretion of the Athletic Union Committee. 
Priority will be given to graduates.
Efforts from previous years will be considered however greater weighting will be applied to the contribution of the current year.
Colours will not be awarded to an individual who has been awarded these previously (unless being awarded a higher accolade eg. from Club to Half or Half to Full).
Individuals should apply for ‘colours’ and then the Committee will apply discretion upon whether to consider the nomination for club, full or half colours
Individuals must have represented the University in their sport.
If the individual does not fall with the general criteria but you feel their level of play is of equal standard, then please nominate them detailing why.
