We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR professional to lead our HR offering, allowing us to recruit, retain and reward a fantastic staff team.  You will work closely with the Deputy Director of Operations and the Chief Executive in ensuring we provide unrivalled HR support throughout the organisation and create a positive, motivated and resilient workforce.

The Union at the University of Southampton exists to unlock the potential and enrich the life of every one of our 23,000 student members.  We are a registered charity with a £7.4M turnover and provide a comprehensive platform of offers, support, representation, services and spaces for our members to enhance the overall University experience across a number of campuses. 

We have approximately 100 core full-time staff, and up to 400 part-time support staff employed throughout the year.  You will work closely with our finance team to deliver payroll, and with the rest of the organisation to modernise and enhance our existing HR processes, policies and provision.
