We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging individual with knowledge of the Higher Education sector, specifically within Rugby and ideally with a good understanding of the wider sports environment.

The post holder will coordinate rugby participation and engagement opportunities to introduce new players to rugby and ensure players are not lost from the game by offering more innovative ways to retain them both during their time at university and after they leave.

You will work across both institutions to create strong links between students, volunteers, professional staff and clubs by providing regular paying opportunities by breaking down barriers to participation and perceptions for new and returning students and freshers.

You will be responsible for planning, promoting and delivering tournament / festival opportunities during midseason and at the end of the BUCS playing programme.

You will be required to undertake coaching to Solent University Rugby Teams, primarily leading on Ladies Rugby coaching.
