 The following position is only open to current University of Southampton students.

We are now recruiting current students to undertake the role of Graphic Design Assistant (Support Staff), to start in the Autumn term 2019.

As a Graphic Design Assistant, you will have the opportunity to further enhance SUSU’s visual identity by working on design projects, updating and amending existing designs, and creating new ones using your own ideas. You will produce new graphics, illustrations, charts, maps, animations, hand-drawn images, and icons for multiple platforms, whilst ensuring all design projects adhere to SUSU’s branding guidelines. You will report to the Marketing and Communications manager and/or Graphic Designers.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant practical experience in undertaking design briefs and have an A-Level or equivalent in Design. You will also need to have excellent Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator understanding and skills, be able to manage a workload efficiently, have great attention to detail, be able to work as part of a team, and have experience of working in a design studio environment.
