Assistant Manager - Catering

Salary based on SUSU's Pay Band D with a full-time equivalent salary of £23,067 to £25,217 subject to experience.

35 hours per week.

The Role

As the Assistant Manager for Catering at SUSU, you'll be part of a fast-paced social enterprise team working to deliver our food and beverage offer. You'll engage with our customers and deliver compelling and high-quality food  offers, manage a team that delivers excellent service and standards in all food and beverage outlets, and be accountable for delivering the planned programme of trading activity for our catering. You will also be expected to work as Duty Manager on specified duty manager shifts. 

About You

It's essential that you hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Food Preparation and cooking, or equivalent City & Guilds qualification, and have demonstrable, high-quality experience in hands-on catering and product development. You should have experience in delivering hands-on training to members of a team, be able to work under pressure, and hold, or be willing to achieve, a Food Hygiene Level 3 certificate. A full driving licence would be an advantage but not essential. You can find the full Person Specification within the Role Profile attached.
