Events Co-ordinator (Temp – Immediate Start, 4 months contract)

£9.42 per hour, 35 hours per week

Highfield Campus, Southampton

 

Joining the fast-paced world of SUSU’s Marketing & Events team, you will be a key player in the co-ordination and delivery of our 2021 Freshers Programme for both incoming and existing students, as well as assisting us with the planning of our term 1 events. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with some experience of events management or someone already in the industry, to be part of the most ambitious programme of events SUSU will run next year.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate & update the event planning documents
• Liaise with external suppliers
• Organise smaller events and offer guidance/support to others in the delivery of their events
• Ensure all risk assessments are completed
• Work with Facilities & Tech teams on requirements 
• Ensure all invoices and budget trackers are completed
• Work with the relevant internal teams to ensure cross departmental working
• Support Marcomms with activity
• Event Duty Manager 

 

You will need to be able to think on your feet and be solution orientated with a firm understanding of event management. We have so many fun and exciting events planned; this will definitely become a summer you will remember!
