The Role

As the Retail Operations Manager at SUSU, you'll be part of a fast-paced team working together to deliver our retail offer. You'll lead a team of Retail Assistants to deliver a fantastic customer experience by planning, supporting, and delivering retail operations, ensuring effective stock control and service supervision. You'll work with a team of core staff and student support members, and develop, support, and motivate them to also provide excellent customer service. You'll also work to ensure we are compliant, and our procedures are delivered to high standards. You will report directly into the Head of Retail, supporting them with budgeting & cost controls, implementing policies & procedures, and recruitment.

About You

You should hold relevant and demonstrable retail management or supervisory experience, including that of stock control, replenishment, and merchandising, and have excellent customer service skills. You should have knowledge and experience of business key performance indicators and the impacts of those on the organisation. You will hold, or be prepared to obtain, a Food Hygiene (Level 3) certificate. It's also essential that you have a good level of numeracy skills and strong computer-literacy.
