The Role

Pre-sessional Helpers get the chance to meet a whole new group of students over the summer vacation (end of June to September) and help them to integrate into University life in the UK. Pre-sessional students take part in an intensive course to ensure that they have a high enough level of English to start their degree course in October. You’ll be helping to deliver a social programme throughout the summer which will include support sessions, evening social events and day trips, giving the students time to relax and helping them get used to British culture.

About You

For most of the project you will be working in a team and will need to be able to coordinate well with others and work as a group to solve any problems. You will also need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, approachable and friendly, have great communication skills and be able to use your initiative in different situations. A good understanding of the experience and needs of international students would also be relevant to this role.

You would be expected to be available between 20^th June and 16^th September 2022 to cover the Pre-Sessional programme.
