About | Role Profile | Pay & Terms |We are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to develop and deliver our financial processes, ensure all financial data is accurate and provide relevant financial information for the senior management team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead a team of Finance Assistants and Officers in overseeing the completion of all financial tasks and the monthly payroll, maintaining appropriate levels of cash floats, and leading the finance team in delivering great service to our members and staff.
You will ensure the balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis, reconciling all cash handling and reviewing the trial balance, profit and loss, and balance sheets along with maintaining the fixed assets register and validating depreciation. In addition, you will oversee credit control and the purchase ledger, compiling all necessary information for the month end process and providing all relevant information for the year end process and audit along with engaging with budget holders to provide regular information about performance against budget on a relevant basis.
You will be qualified to ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA / ACA or as a a minimum, AAT level 4 with extensive experience of working within a finance function. You will have knowledge and experience in using accounting packages, ideally Sage 200 and Sage 50 Payroll and experience of developing and working within systems and processes to record financial transactions. You will have experience of budgeting, working with financial procedures and drafting financial policies along with experience of providing and explaining management accounting information to non-finance staff.
