The Role

This role will be ideal for someone who is really passionate about food and who is keen to learn a new skill in order to deliver it in a way that is appropriate to our student audience. 

Our Catering Assistant role will involve you working flexibly across different areas of our SUSU Food & Beverage food preparation, meaning you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained and develop experience in different areas. We are currently looking specifically for support staff to work across:

• The Stag’s (bar)
• The Bridge (café bar)
• Plant Pot (Vegan café)

You will work alongside our permanent, core staff and other student staff.

We offer flexible working opportunities with hours to suit you and your studies.

Social Enterprise

Our popular outlets are a great way to be busy and meet a variety of people – delivering a friendly and personal service to our many regular customers and ensuring that new customers want to return. Working across The Bridge, The Stags and Plant Pot provides a busy food and drink service environment from food preparation through to serving alcoholic drinks through to till operation and clearing up.
