We are looking to appoint a Head of Finance to join our student-led charity based in Southampton. The role will manage our day-to-day finances, develop our finance team and processes, support business planning, and ensure our charitable funds are used to their best effect.

This role is ideal for a finance professional looking to gain a wide range of experience within the not-for-profit sector.  It will include overseeing financial transactions for our £5m turnover social enterprise outlets (shop, vegan café, café bar, and pub), a varied events programme, and our very own lettings agency.

Our finance team directly support our 400+ student-led sports clubs and societies with awarding over £0.25m of grants every year and providing our in-house “money hub” financial management system.  The team also deliver monthly payroll for our 70 full-time staff and over 200 casual student staff.

You will have the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of our 24,000 members and help deliver our vision that every student loves their time at Southampton.
