We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Finance Officer to join us full time (35 hours pw).

The role will primarily be responsible for the efficient and effective processing of all aspects of the payroll function within SUSU, including accurate and timely production of it. In addition to payroll, they will be responsible for supporting with other finance duties and be a team player to ensure the smooth running of the Finance Team.  

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a student led charity based in Southampton. The role offers the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience within the not-for-profit sector including supporting finance functions for our social enterprise outlets (shop, vegan café, café bar and pub), a varied events programme, and our very own lettings agency.

 

About You

You will have previous experience in preparing payrolls, including handling various payroll processing tasks with precision and supporting making decisions to resolve queries.  

We are also looking for someone who has great attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills as well as previous experience of running finance reports.

Previous experience of Sage is preferable.
