The Role

This role will be ideal for someone who is passionate about customer service and providing students with amazing experiences in our venues. You will need to be able to deliver service in a way that is appropriate to our student audience. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can lead a team of their peers.

Our F&B (Bars) Supervisor role may involve you working across different areas of our SUSU Food & Beverage, meaning you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained and develop experience in different areas, namely Stag’s, Bridge, Below Deck and Plant Pot.

You may be required to work open and close shifts including at the weekends. You will oversee a team of student staff in a given venue for the duration of that shift reporting into the core staff manager on duty.

Shift lengths are usually between 4-6 hours but can sometimes be longer depending upon activities taking place. Shifts will often require late finishes, regularly up until 1am and sometimes beyond on the biggest SUSU events. We have a safety bus to help you get home safely.

You will work alongside our permanent, core staff and other student staff.

We offer flexible working opportunities with hours to suit you and your studies.
