Activities Support Staff have the opportunity to support a variety of fun events over the summer. In this role, you will help current students as well as meet a new group of students (pre-sessional students) during the summer vacation (from the end of June to the end of August). Your role will involve helping them integrate into university life in the UK. You will be delivering a social programme throughout the summer, which will include workshops, icebreaker activities, and day trips, providing opportunities for everyone to relax and for newly arrived students to become familiar with British culture.
Please note: This is a fixed-term role from 16th June 2025 to 31st August 2025.
About You
For most of the project you will be working in a small team and will need to be able to coordinate well with others and work as a group to solve any problems. You will also need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, approachable and friendly, have great communication skills and be able to use your initiative in different situations. A good understanding of the experience and needs of international students would also be relevant to this role.
