Why were the Christmas lights on at 7 am on a Sunday morning? Is this not just a complete waste of money, energy and electricity?

Thanks for your submission!

Yes it is. I contacted the University Estates and Facilities team and they said the lights had been 'setttling in' so they could not be put on timers in the first few weeks. However, now I have been advised that the timers are up and running and the lights will be off during the day.
