SUSU took the decision to close Bar 3 before Easter as it was not making enough profit to make its operation financially viable. We did this with the intention to consult students on what would be a better use of the space with an aim to refurbish reopen it in time for the next academic year (September). We are considering both the food offer and the seating arrangement within this consultation, but this is still very open to discussion and will take the lead from our students on what is the best course of action. You can expect more public consultation to be available for input within the next week or so.
