It should be made more clear that students can get largely discounted haircut and hair colouring in the salon above the shop. It seems odd to me that the university is not making more of an effort to increase awareness that models are always needed and can be a saving opportunity. A potential partnership could mean happier students and help others learning a trade.

Whilst Shine are fantastic, they are an external company so we do not have ownership over their promotion. I would reccomend getting in touch with them directly to discuss any ideas you might have for better promotion to students. You can do so here: https://www.shine-southampton.co.uk/contact
For us to do any promtion of Shine, we would have to create a formal partnerhsip with them. This would have to be conducted by our sales team at SUSU and Shine themselves, not by Sabbatical Officers. I might also suggest therefore that you get in contact with our sales team (sales@susu.org) to discuss this further.
