The bus shelter on campus is not really a shelter, anyone who has had to wait there for more than 5 mins will know how cold it can get. It doesn't provide great coverage from rain or wind. The regular bus stop shelters provide more shelter than the interchange. Please can we have a better interchange shelter?

Hello again!

Thanks again for getting in touch. I've now had a chance to speak to the University's transport team who have outlined some available plans and options. Unfortunately a new building/structure isn't feasible in the near future, however with the completion of the Centenary Student Learning Centre just a short while away there are plans to use this as a sort of waiting area. It will hopefully come equipped with digital signage showing the bus times, making it a useful location to hide during times of poor weather. Improvements to the UniLink app are also due soon to better share timings and schedules, meaning that you should have to spend less time waiting outside for a bus in general.

I know that this isn't ideal in terms of the Interchange space, but rest assured that this is something which the University are looking to address through the Centenary Student Learning Centre once it is completed.

I'm going to mark this You Make Change as completed for now, but will re-open it if anything new comes up.

Thanks for the submission, and do get in touch if you have any questions!

All the best,
