Hi there,

Thank you for your You Make Change submission.

I understand that some people would not feel comfortable with having their name attached to comments, but we do not annonomise the comments for a few reasons:

1) We have no way to know who to contact when they raise concerns.

2) We then can't monitor any harrassment as no names are attached.

3) We attach our work email addresses in the posts so people can come to us about issues raised by a YMC or want to follow up further. From this, we can invite people in to talk and understand better.

Hope this helps.

If you have any more concerns, feel free to email me at vpeddem@soton.ac.uk

Kind regards,

Jo Lisney (VP Education & Democracy, 2019-20. vpeddem@soton.ac.uk)
