Remove plastic bags for hot pastries in The Shop
For a Union that is working so hard on sustainability, it seems an easy change to swap plastic bags for hot pastries in the shop to normal paper ones, thus reducing unnecessary plastic consumption.

Thank you for taking the time to put in a You Make Change submission!
I'm happy to say that after reviewing this with our Union Services team, we have now got 100% recyable and compostable bags in the shop! We are still trying to use up our current stock but once these arefinishedwewill solely be using the new more sustainable bags!
