Many pages on the SUSU website are out of date. For example, the 'You make change' page itself still says there are "seven full-time officers" at the SU, when that's been reduced to 5 now to save money.

Hi there,

This is obviously is of big importance (I assure you the staff using it all day come across problems regularly).

Over summer it was decided at trustee board to set aside some money to hire a profesional web developer to work for a period of 3 - 6 month to completley overhaul the website. This has been advertised with very flexible hours and time scale within the 3-6 months, that will be paid a competitive salary. Currently we have had no appropriately qualified candidates so are still in the process of recruiting - I am looking to try and advertise this amongst the ECS department to see if we get any interest. I will keep you updated with any developments but unfortunatley there is limited scope for what we can do at the moment - but please do flag any broken links or incorrect info and we can have them taken down straight away.

Thanks,

Fiona Sunderland, VP Activities 2019-20

The union has consistantly neglected its website despite years saying they would try to improve it..

Just hire someone to do it because it is clear that whoever is doing it at the moment does not have the time or skills or both. Last year the enitre site was essentially purged with everything essentially disappearing overnight... There are students more than competant who are more than willing to do this job providing they are paid reasonably. This is not a minimum wage job....
