Many other universities provide a free tour of the town/city for new students during Freshers' that help students find out more about their city and given Southampton has a rich history, it would be interesting for new students.

Hi there!
Thank you for this suggestion. Before lockdown, I passed this along to our Activities team. During our presessonal programme, we do this for our international students anyway and we are happy to replicate this event for our returning and new fresher students! Naturally because of Covid-19, this is unlikely to happen at this point but it is definitely with the right people and team who will be planning Freshers in the future to include this as an event
