Cancel ECS in-person exams.

ECS are currently planning to go ahead with in-person exams. I believe that it is unsafe to do so, as the sheer infectiveness of the omicron variant scares me. Whilst it is not as deadly, the cascading effects of being in a hall with 100 other students just doesn't seem worth it.

Also if you are self-isolating during exam season are unable to attend, this can have many consequences including an increased work load caused by having to sit the exam outside of the exam season.

Another personal worry of mine, is people that know they are positive but don't want to have to self-isolate and miss the exam.

Finally, while there are agurments to be made on the effectiveness of closed book exams vs open book. I believe the priotiy should be the health and safety of both staff and students.
