On 21st of November 2019 SUSU voted to support UCU strike action. With the next round of strikes beggining this week, does SUSU still support the strike, and if so what concrete actions are being taken to aid the strike?

Hello,
I met with our Deputy CEO yesterday to discuss this. Every time that SUSU has supported a UCU strike, it is because it has been local industrial action. As the ballot did not reach enough votes to cause a strike in Southampton, we do not feel it is necessary to put out a statement. If, in the future, the UCU strike does become local, we will then take steps to respond.
