Push for extra answer space paper to be allowed in exams

Complete

In our exams we get a finite amount of space in the box to write our answers. At GCSE and A level it was widely accepted to have extra paper available in the event that you ran out of space from either too many words or making a mistake that needed to be crossed out. Now we are being encouraged to just write really small instead which for a lot of people reduces their ability to make their writing legible whilst writing quickly and the lack of extra space means that crossing things out or not explaining your answer in a concise enough format essentially penalises you.

Hello! My advice would be to raise this with your module lead who may be able to give a better answer and implement this. You can also raise it with your course representative or your school/department President who can also take this further and raise it in SSLCs.
