Posh pads have continuously scammed and wripped off students and have been able to get away with it. Many students are unaware of the problems they will encounter when renting from them and awareness to renting with scammers like posh pads and others needs to be promoted

Thank you for your submission! The Advice Centre has been made aware of this concern and has put out the following statement:

"We have been hearing about a number of students who have not received their deposits back from a well-known lettings agency in Southampton. We can help, but you need to contact us. If we receive enough testimonials from students, we can look to raise a complaint about them with the Trading Standards. In order to do this, we need to hear from you. Please email us on advice@susu.org."

If you have any concerns, please reach out to the Advice Centre, or feel free to contact me at welfare@soton.ac.uk.

Best wishes,
