bike locks

Hello,

 

I'm writing to you to look in to the union having a storage of bike locks able to borrow.

Last week I cycled up to campus for a lab, I parked my bike and realised I had left my bike lock at home. I was not willing to cycle back and get it as the lab was important so thought maybe the union could help me with some secure storage for a few hours. Sadly they did not have the resources to help me.

I wonder if it would be possible for the union to invest In a few bike locks that would be able to borrow for a deposit or ID card exchange, like room use? I feel this would help many others as I know I'm not the only one who has done this, and it will promote cycling.
