Our university is applauded for its pursuit for sustainability alongside a thriving community of students whom all wish to make a positive impact. Throughout this year, working alongiside the university itself and its students, I have been working on trying to harness kinetic energy produced in UoS gyms to then be recycled for other purposes. This will, hopefully, be an interesting project for students to collaborate on, we can be our own renewable resource and also encourage people to use the gym facilities with the extra knowledge of doing their bit for our environment! :D
