The University already has a scheme in place to recover abaondoned bicycles from the storage facilities - Unicycle. They repair bicycles and sell them to students and staff for a small fee. Any bicyles that cannot be repaired are recycled for parts. This scheme also works with the council to try and improve cycle lanes around the city.
