Why are laptops no longer allowed in the Bridge? What evidence is there that this is what people want?

The bridge is now quite empty at various times - is that really what we want rather than people coming in and buying drinks while working? Maybe ban laptops at peak times but in the morning

Maybe ban laptops at peak times but in the morning period, there doesn't seem to be much gained. Could laptops be at least allowed at certain times of day?

Hi!

I have a positive update on the Bridge laptop situation! Following a significant amount of student feedback, the Sabb and Senior Leadership team decided to send a proposal for an adapted ban to the Board of Trustees for approval. Trustee Board have approved this, so the ban, as of 1st November, will be in place between 11:00 and 14:00, as opposed to all day.

Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it!
