push for more yoga classes by Sport and Wellbeing
There seem to be too few yoga classes. Yoga classes are booked out on the day they come online. Also, yoga is only offered during daytime. Evening classes would be much appreciated. Yoga as type of mindfullness is very important to students wellbeing so I think this should also be a priority to the Union.

Hi Iris,
Thank you for your suggestion. I have spoken to Sport and Wellbeing about this and they are looking at moving some martial arts club bookings around in the evenings so that they can provide more yoga classes at more competitive times. I am in support of making classes more accessible to students so I will be working with Sport and Wellbeing and the martial arts clubs to minimise any potential disruption. Any changes that are made would happen over summer in time for the next academic year, so hopefully this problem will be mitigated next year.
Best wishes,

A year later this issue is still relevant. Could I at least get a reply to queries on here?
Hi Steve,
It seems like there haven't been any changes to the amount of yoga classes nor timings. As it was promised that changes would be made over summer it seems like a re-evaluation would be suitable. Could you have another look at this case?
Another suggestion would be to offer an additional yoga class in the sports hall to accommodate the high interest? Although it is not preferred because the cold conditions would not be beneficial to the class...
I hope this will be seen as a priority since it was already flagged in Januari of this year.
Best wishes,
Iris
