Open the Cube on weekly basis, to have a nice place to party, an student drinks deals.

Hey! Thanks for your idea. To add some context to this, we used to run weekly club nights in the Cube (the last iteration of which were known as Pulse), but we found that after the first 3 or 4 each year, very few people would turn up, to the point at which numbers were as low as 38 (standing capacity of the Cube is over 500), and as a result we made the decision to cancel them in 2013. As such, it's not something we would be looking to explore in the near future, also because we can't compete with the quality of nightlife in other parts of Southampton. If you have any other events ideas we'd love to hear them, however - we're always looking for new and cool things to do! You can email me at pres@susu.org.

The cube is used for society events and union films. If you check the cube booking timetable https://bookings.susu.org/master.aspx you'll see that it's being used all the time. If you want to have a party place in the cube, feel free to book it out yourself and make a "cube party" event and if it's popular, then making it a weekly thing may be worthwile
