Stock non-halal meat in sandwishs, pasta etc in the union shop

I think it would be very much in line with the Union's diviersity policy to allow shoppers to have a wider choice of non-halal meat prodcuts in the union shop in particular, and in other catering outlets.
Equal access to proucts should be available to those who do not wish to consume halal meat. While some people will wish to consum halal meat for religious reasons, others do not want to consume halal or kosher meats for equally valid ethical reasons.

Hiya!
Thank you for waiting so patiently for a response.
We always try to embrace the diverse membership we have when providing any services here within the Union facilities. By working closely with Union Services, we will look to expand our current range and ensure we offer both Halal and non-Halal meats in the future, with enough choice available. We will continue to make sure that Halal meat is clearly marked, as is the current practice.
If you have any specific brands/foods that you would like to see in the shop, please don't hesitate to email!!
